Massage Therapists

Bob Hamilton, LMT
I was born and raised in a small town in North East Indiana. I graduated from Ball State University in 1997 with a degree in Exercise Science. Being an athlete at heart, I have a real passion for competition, training and the Healing Arts. I’ve had fun and success competing in swimming, College Cheerleading and Amateur Bodybuilding. I know what its like to experience muscle and joint pain and soreness due to stress, strains, sprains and overuse injuries.

I received my first therapeutic massage five years ago and to say the least I was blown away! I could not believe the improvement in my overall physical and mental well-being. I discovered a new passion and was immediately hooked on Massage Therapy. 1 year later I was enrolled in Massage School full time. It was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Before opening Eco Massage and Bodywork I worked at Urban Nirvana Day Spa for three and a half years.

Today I aspire to help people relieve their stress, heal their pains, and improve their mental and spiritual well-being. I’m committed to giving each and every person who comes thru my door a great massage that will have lasting results.

Tara Mills, LMT
A native to rural upstate New York , I have developed an appreciation for the outdoors that lended itself to recreational activities such as tennis, hiking and biking. It was, in fact, my athletic side, that gave me direction to develop my career in massage. Not knowing what I wanted to pursue in college, my parents encouraged me to take up studies that seemed to be natural fit and that in turn would offer insight to a career I could enjoy. Experiencing first hand the great relief that muscle manipulation could offer me after a strenuous workout, I decide to pursue a career in massage. It afforded me a satisfying vocation as well as direction in choosing to obtain a Masters in Psychology which I will complete in the summer of 2009.

I have been a Massage Therapist going on eight years. During that time I have worked with a number of patients who were recovering from surgery as well as though working through physical aliments. I have found that I have a passion for helping others, and at the end of a long day I find no great joy then knowing that someone's day has been made better by the time they spent with me.
